Guidance for Volunteer Centers:

Please make sure any Newsletter submitted for your Volunteer Center conforms to a few basic standards:

• If you use colored typeface, stay away from web link colors like blue and purple and so forth. Dark Green #2 should be used if possible for font colors as it is Web neutral. And of course, black or shades of gray are acceptable.
• Not only do you need to Spell-Check your Newsletter, but please read it as there are some words in which an alternate spelling may not be caught. One such word is "Meeting." Spell-Check does not catch a misspelling if you spell it "Meting." And you also need to read your newsletter out loud to someone else or yourself to see if it makes sense?
• Images are welcome - we will add them to our bank of images.
• Please do include email addresses and links - as long as they have a space before and after them, they will be saved on this website as clickable links.
