This year's conference on "Bringing Out the Best in Others" introduces leadership strategies proven to empower volunteers, both individually and in teams. Keynote speaker Jayne Mayer from the Verizon Foundation will discuss The Evolution of Corporate Engagement with Nonprofits: Grants, Skills-Based Volunteering and Pro Bono Services.
To help bring out the best in others Tracey Manning, University of Maryland Center on Aging, will hold workshops on Maximizing Your Leadership Strengths, Developing and Empowering Volunteers, and Self-Directed Volunteer Teams.
